On the final day of her Birbhum visit, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee once again launched a strong attack on the central government over the Bengali language issue. She alleged that Bengali-speaking Hindi speakers and Muslims are being subjected to atrocities. She urged that migrant Muslims should not come to Bengal only during Eid, but should consider settling here permanently.
